    Sniper Elite black screen.

Ive tried playing sniper elite with Loader GX and Wiiflow(which I usually use) under the default IOS and others like 222,223,249,250 to no avail. I just get a black screen after I hit play....the game never starts. I know some other people are having the same problem so maybe we can find a solution. Thanks in advance.

    try Guide: Installing CFG Loader
    too.
force the videomode in the loader settings to your region's signal (PAL/NTSC whicever applies).
    250rev20, 249rev17 should work.
already re-dumped the game to the harddrive? does it play the intro sound when you select the game?
good indicator that you "only" have to find the right setting. also altering the gamelanguage to load to english helps sometimes.

    <--suggestions helped? press Thanks

I am having the same problem with the black screen. I started out using loader GX. This is the first game I have not been able to get working. I then installed CNF loader and was able to load the game but it was in a fuzzy black and white. I messed with the load settings and was rewarded with more "black screen lockup". Now, even with the CNF loader settings back to their default settings, I still get black screen. I can't even get back to black and white. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks.

Some of the descriptions I've seen (black and white) suggest an out of region game. There is a guide to check to make sure you have the settings correct (says for disc games, but if USB HD the principle's the same) here. Also, Rev 19 of IOS 249 isn't generally recommended, but rather Rev 17.

i found a gbatemp thread about the game/this issue, cant find it again
many people with PAL game versioin on NTSC wii. no way: plays in black and white, when forced to NTSC black screen. no fix found yet.
maybe someone with that set up can give a hint, if it is working on his console and with which exact settings.
playing the pal game on pal wii, with cfg/wiiflow using 249 or 250 (mauifrog's set up).

drastic region change for the wii could help (boot2 bootmii would be good to have)

Possible reason you are seeing PAL games in B & W when running on an NTSC system...

I'm sure there may be a better place to post this.... but this is what happened to me...

All my pal games would run in B & W, any that gave me a black screen i would switch too 222 and then they would run in B & W. Originally I had been running my WII through a DVD player and then to my TV. I thought for fun I would go directly to my TV. I did and they all work fine now (except for the black screen games which I still have to run with 222 as opposed to 249). My TV I noticed, automatically switches from NTSC to PAL, where as my DVD player was not doing this.... possible fix? get a new TV .

I did not try using component video though my DVD player as a possible fix, I may try that later. Hopefully this helps a couple of people out, as it as eased my frustration.
