Ok so I tried to play a PAL version of Scarface on an NTSC Wii using Wiiflow, and 222v4. I tried to force NTSC, and I got a black screen and my Wi froze. Then I tried the same .wbfs file on USB Loader GX using the same cIOS, and it worked fine. I then realized that I forgot to force to my region, which I think is pretty dangerous if Im not mistaken. When I tried forcing NTSC in USB Loader GX I got the same black screen as before.
How can I make this work?

I've never encountered problems playing Japanese or European games on my US Wii. I think the warning is to keep people from accepting out of region disc updates or installing out of region channels/VC/Wiiware which can cause problems. It's easier to warn against something rather than to explain to take proper precautions. If you have it working somehow as long as you don't accept a disc update or have Priiloader blocking them you're all good.

I Agree 90% of my wii games are PAL on my ntsc wii using usb loader GX....you will be fine!Quote:

If you rip your retail disc to the HDD using USB Loader GX you don't have to worry about updates as it will remove them.
