Exclamation Can't play the retail disc Super Smash Bros Brawl

    Hi,

When I first soft modded my Wii I realised that my retail Brawl disc was not working, kept saying Unable to read disc. So I thought whatever I'll just put it on usb...

I've modded my little cousin's Wii and he has Smash Bros too, after soft modding Brawl no longer works...

    What is going on...?

    Anyway to fix this?

P.S. I can't burn brawl for him 'cause he has the new D3-2 chipset and I can't put it on usb 'cause theres no room on there.
I've also looked around and I can't find a fix and people are saying, "It's the lens, it's the lens!" I don't think it is... it was working perfectly fine before the soft mod.

    Thanks for reading.

-edit- And all my other retail games work too!

Make sure you're using a dual layer-capable cIOS (only Hermes IOS 222/223 or strictly Rev 17 of IOS 249; anything less like Rev 14 = no work'em).

So using an older revision of cIOS 249 will fix it? o_o

    mk I'll try lol :P

-edit- Reverting back to rev 17 made channel loading for usb work again!

I won't be able to find out about smash bros brawl though till my cousin comes back from camp.
