Question Guitar Hero 5 Black Screen - MulticIOS Not working

    Hello, I have a 4.2U Softmodded wii, and when I load GH5 I get a black screen...

So I looked around in the forums and found some guides to review, however none of them seem to be working...

GH5 Guide: http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...o-5-guide.html was one of the ones I looked at..

On step 2, (MulticIOS) I load it up, however when I go to do the network install and select the right ioss, it initializes network then gives me a http request error, and reboots HBC...

So I read some more about router issues and things, and put my wii's IP in the DMZ zone... still no luck... (I did all the other network installs perfect up until now)

So I read some more and found this thread: http://www.wiihacks.com/wii-custom-s...multicios.html

As well as reading the readme.txt that came with MulticIOS.

I then downloaded all the files and put the in the correct folder, and loaded up MulticIOS again.

This time MulticIOS goes through all of the "downloading... OK" up to #15, then gives an error after installing... installing ticket... adding title... adding content id...

    "some numbers" fail - 1017
    install returned -1

I'm a noob at wii hacking and just softmodded my wii the other day, so there may be something I missed...

Much appreciated if someone could shed some light on this! Thank You!!!

Are you trying to load the game from a disk or from a usb loader? You don't need multiCios if using a USB Loader. Just follow my guide and you will be all set. This guide will get GH5 working with USB Loader GX. You won't have to install any other USB Loaders like the other guides. This is an easy fix and it works. Don't forget to hit my thanks button!

    Sorry I'm using a disc.

I saw your guide earlier, however I have no spare HDD for my wii...

Thanks for the information though, I may very well need that when I get a HDD for my wii...

    Exclamation

Perhaps the problem is in MulticIOS... can anyone point me to another download location?

    Thanks!

    P.S. I'm supposed to install IOS37 with IOS37 rev7 dip as IOS232?

None of the installers fully explained that...

Is there anthing I have to uninstall or what?

    Thanks again!

    Help?

Anyone got some input on how to fix this problem?

I still have no clue how to fix this...

I've also tried going on the IRC here, I couldn't get any help there over a few days...

    Help appreciated, thanks!!!

    1. You're using disc only (no USB HD)?
    2. "Same error message as above", the post above gives a black screen and no error message. This what you mean? <blink, blink>
    3. When you say you have installed IOS 56, was it the proper revision (IOS56-64-v5146)?
    4. You've used a wiihacks recommended softmodding guide? If so, which? What System Menu/region is your Wii?
