    Hi,
    I have softmoded Wii 4.2U.
I burned the dvd for Ashes Cricket 09 game and it freezes when i try to load a new profile.
I tried to play the game from USB drive and have the same issue.
Can someone please help in resolving this issue?

    Download the Save File
Extract the File to your HD.

Open Folder Private > Wii > Title

Copy the R6KP Folder that you have inside!

Browse your SD card you should have a Private folder Open it, then open Wii folder then Open Title folder (if you do not have them You need to create these Folders and copy R6KP folder into the Title Folder)

Take the SD card to the Wii > Click the Wii Options menu > Click Data Management > Click Save Data > Click Wii > Then Select SD Card tab (top right) > Click on the "Ashes Cricket 2009" Save File > Then Click COPY

you need to get hold of a saved game and copy it onto your wii.
If you search around I'm pretty sure I found it else where on this site.

Oh I was beaten to it.

Above Fix would not work for me, but found via Google search that running off cIOS223 on USB Loader GX would resolve the problem and sure enough it did.

TO ALL PEOPLE WHO COULD NOT COPY THE SAVE GAME FROM SD TO WII

I had similar issues, and even with a save game downloaded, every time I tried to copy it to the wii, a pop-up message appeared telling me I had to play the game first, b4 I could copy a saved game file. I found the solution: My version of this game has game code R6KU, not R6KP like a lot of other people. Get either version HERE!!

    Enjoy!!
