    Games in black and white

Hi guys i hope this is in the right place sorry if its not

i softmodded a friends console with 4.2u. everything works and loads fine on my hdtv using component cables. but when i brought the console to his house and put it on his tube tv with RCA's Punch out would come in black and white and Skate it would make the screen all messed up with bars going up and down.

these are being played through usb hard drive. but i also burned them to try it that way and still had the same problems. when i brought it back to my house everything worked fine. anyone know what i can do? i tried other games, like the New super mario and that works fine. im lost!

sounds like your playing a pal game on a ntfs console...

Go into the settings of the game in your loader and set it to force ntfs and that should fix it.

It is not ntfs it's ntsc! And it is not about that at all!It is about tv plugins. You should try to use vidtv patch if not u need to buy an adapter

I have componet wires he has rca wires. Its not all games that do it, it was just punch out and skate it that messed up, super mario wii work perfect. This was on his tv with rca wires. My tv with component wires works perfect. I don't get it other then needing an adapter but what adapter will he need?
