I have cIOS249 r17 installed on my system.
What implications does that have on Super Smash Bros Brawl?
Do I need to change my cios or not?
(I am totally confused because of these version numbers...)

    please help!

What version of USB Loader GX are you using, there were a few older revisions of USB Loader GX that would let you rip the game to HDD but wouldn't be able to play them. The fix for this was to get a newer version of GX and reinstall the games.
