Yeps, I was only suggesting you put it on the sticky. These steps seem to work for a lot of people. Unfortunately that's not my case. Using DVD9 and trying all revisions of cIOS 249, from the 13a to the 16, the game gives the same error at the same spot. However the advice for USB loading helped a guy on the other thread, so I suppose I'll end up getting an 8gb stick or something.

Still would help to have these steps posted since I've seen too much people with the same problem with SSBB and some don't even know where to start. If they get stumped later on after having tried the standard then that's other thing.

Hey messie I wasn't sure if it was alright to pm you or not, but I was just referring someone over here and noticed the link to wiiflow points to the abandoned original project. The latest downloads are available at the google source site here and bundled into a guide I wrote up in the submit articles section (also linked below).

Cheers btw on the post, very informative.

and I will add the games to the guide

also this is a crappy solution. Try to see if you can get them working with a decent usb drive
yeah, "I will make my wii virgin and try again", that was a stupid sentence
and yes I have followed the NSMB thread,
however I partitioned my 1 Tb Western Digital in two pieces: 820 Gb FAT32 and 115 Gb WBFS and still cant get games to work(yes USB Loader and Neogamma find my games and my WBFS drive is set to primary and active) still the same problem green and black screen. Both games are PAL and 002 fix is anti in USB Loader and I have messed with force video settings.
Also, I burned Wii Music on Verbatim DVD+R with 2,4x speed and got disk load error(1053), guess I still had to burn it with 4x speed.

Any suggestions and help is welcome

if you have a black wii then you most probably are out of luck with discs. Then, you should try to reinstall ios249 (cios39rev14) or try to switch the ios the usb loader uses to ios222 or 223 see what happens

    Games freeze

Hi my brother stupidly updated my wii to 4.2, so I re-softmodded my console, and some games work fine, however games such as guitar hero, mario vs sonic don't seem to load and get stuck (I am able to press the reset button on my console) if anyone has any advice on what I can do I would be grateful, i've attempted everything thats on the site involving soft-modding and usb ios, or am i doing something wrong?

Unfortunately, neither reinstall of cios38rev14 nor changing ios-es for booting, didn't work
My wii is not a new one, it's from year 2007 and white.
CFG Usb Loader did not bring any luck either
