Soul Eater: Monotone Princess: Help running NTSC-J game

I've tried this with WiiFlow and USB Loader GX, edited my IOS through the tutorial External Link Removed. It should be noted that I'm loading the game via USB, not disc. I really don't know what's going on with this, and any help would be appreciated. Additional questions are welcomed if it helps with assistance. Also, the game is NTSC-J, but I already have HBC on my Wii.

I wasn't aware that we started supporting other site's guides.

I have no idea what you are trying to do or how you are trying to do it.

    First time posting, sorry.
I'm trying to run an NTSC-J (Japanese) game on a Homebrew-modded Wii. I used the guide on this site to set up HBC on it in the first place, but I'm having issues finding further clarification about this in particular.

If the game is installed on your USB drive, as long as priiloader is set for region-free playing, it should work.

J-region games are also NTSC, so you don't have to worry about messing with PAL games by forcing video settings to NTSC.

I haven't installed Priiloader yet, but since I've messed with the IOS settings, isn't there a high chance of bricking the Wii? That's the only reason I haven't taken that step thus far. I'm also wondering if I can reset the IOS back to default?

It might be wise to just get a proper softmod using our Softmod ANY Wii guide in my signature. We have no way of knowing what the guide you used did to your Wii and we'd hate for you to brick it.

If I spelled something wrong, I'll just blame it on auto-correct

Both statements cannot be correct. Since you said you followed our guide, I took it at its word and didn't ask you go there. Seems that's a mistake that I'll not make again. Thank you for this learning opportunity.
