When you encounter an error you should look at the error index in the recommended guides section. Ret - 1 error is very common and easily solved.

I don't ever think (don't quote me) that it also says incompatible SD card for that error (or at least in those, specific terms). Make sure you're using a FULL SD CARD (microsd = nope, SDHC = nope).

LOL Well it seems that someone didn't put the wads into the wad folder. Oops. Not only that, but while I have the installer already on disk, the wad it needs seems to not be there. Guess I have some more work to do.

Got the wad installed Doesn't change anything. Also tried a new disk- this one tells me an unauthorised device is detected.

My game is saying disc error in flower fields which is level 2 in the new area. Someone else had this problem but they didn't have any answers. It says disc error exactly after it's loaded but the curtains are still there from the loading screen. After a while it says disc error. Anyone else have this problem or any fixes? Thanks.

What other route should I take here?
    Hi!

To everyone who is following this thread, I would like to share what I have done. After trying all sort of solution recommended such as upgrading menu, installing CIOS and attempting to load using new loader like softchip and latest neogamma r8, I end up with more frustration. Then, I tried to rip the file into USB Pen Drive using Backup Manager so that I can play using WiiFlow. Guess what, the program say there is a READ ERROR at 90+% of the ripping. So, I guess it must be the DVD Disc error rather than any not updated CIOS or Menu problem.

So, my suggestion is, exchange the DVD for other title or just throw it into your rubbish bin.
