HELP! I think Metroid the Other M bricked my system!

I have the wiikey. I ran the system update from the metroid disc and it said unauthorized device detected. Then when I restarted the wii, my homebrew channel dissapeared! I put in the SD card to reload the homebrew channel, but it wouldn't detect my SD card. What do I do?

    Softmod 4.3 Wiis
    btw: never update..

you just killed all your softmod stuff with the official nintendo update, as it is supposed by it.
semi-brick would be an opera error entering your systemmenu.

resoftmod using one of the exploits, lego indiana, ssbb
    good luck

Ok, so it is a semi brick because I can turn it on and stuff. I just can't play games and my homebrew channel dissapeared without letting me use an SD card to put it on.

And this is not a brick, please don't exaggerate.

Exactly. Your console is not bricked, nor semi-bricked. It's running as intended by the 4.3 update. Follow the link vinatec gave you.

Ok thanks. I have a backup of Lego indiana. Will that work or do I need the real version?

If you can load it, you can use it.

I think my chip works. I've just been loading games through gecko on the homebrew channel. Is there a way to downgrade the system to what I had before? I'm a super newbie so easy explanations would be best. Thanks!
