Im running on 4.0E, softmod, neogamma r9 beta 11 rev 19, ive installed ios56-64-v5405 and renamed gameid and still getting the 'disc can not be read' error.
any ideas of the problem??
After burning a copy of smg2 and trying to play it through neogamma i keep getting an "exception dsi occurred" error message, which i am assuming is a disk read error. so i tried to follow the guide, and downloaded the wii iso renamer app.
this is where i am having a weird problem. i cant seem to open the wii iso renamer application. every time i double click it, i get an error message saying it cant be opened...
any idea on why this is happening, and what i can do from here?
You're a god..
Guys please I need your help, I already have 8 coasters!
I have a Wii with a D2Ckey and it is a 4.2E, Whenever I burn this Wii game I get "Unable to read disc" error. The Wii doesn't even detect it. I've tried using DVD+R and I've tried using DVD-R, ive used Verbatim DVD's and Maxell, but to no avail. I even tried the Wii iso re-namer tool.
Game title: SUPER MARIO GALAXY MORE
game id: RB4E01
Is this correct?
I've tried regionfrii (I have a PAL Wii) now I'm not sure how to go about it, If i give up those coasters would have died for nothing! any ideas on how to fix this up?
your on 4.2 your modchip lost the ability to play out of region games.....if you want you can follow a guide by mauifrog to restore you wii region free....
I am using a D2C chip with NeoGamma (sometimes). SMG2 and Hasbro Family Game Night 2 were giving me the "Disc could not be read" message on a friends Wii when booting normally or with Neogamma. Since the burns were done on a laptop with ImgBurn at 8x I decided to burn at 1x. ImgBurn could only drop down to 3x but SUCCESS!!! Both games worked. I wasted time updating Neogamma and IOS 249. I will try the old discs on my Wii when I have a chance to see if there is a difference between the readers." 'Unable to Read Disc' Errors"
"Some of you have been getting this one. I have no idea why or how this works..."
Now you know and, well... GI Joe.
