[Guide] Super Mario Galaxy 2
Yes, the game is upon us. For usb loaders you should have no trouble playing it. Disc users as well. So far, unlike it's predecessor upon release, it even works well with most modchips (002 error/Unable to read disc error users see below). For softmods we've tested this with IOS249 revs 14, 17, & 19. Working fine with no issues at all.
One special thing to note is that like Endless Ocean 2 and Fifa 2010, SMG2 comes with a 4.2 firmware update. Like every other game, the firmware contained in the update IS NOT REQUIRED to actually play SMG2 and you should not take this update if you are on 4.1 or lower (modchip users or softmod users). Yes that means you can still be on 4.1, 3.2, etc. etc. and play SMG2.
Make sure you've installed Priiloader and blocked disc updates, (links at the bottom of this post) and make sure you've updated IOS56 to v5405.
So enjoy the game! That's right, no special fixes on this one.

- Loads in Wiiflow v1.1 R25
- Loads in USB Loader GX (multiple revisions)

Discs:
- Works with Neogamma
- Works with DARKCORP (not recommended)
Modchips:
- Works with Wiikey 1 & 2
- Works with d2cPro
- Drivekey might have an issue (Reports are a 002 error from disc channel - Some users report no problems)
- Works with WasabiDX and Wasabi Zero
Misc. Info:
- Uses IOS56-64-v5405
- NTSC-U release works for PAL users (change your video settings in your loader and force PAL or system)
- Contains an update for System Menu 4.2 (not required to play the game, don't take this update).

"Unable to Read Disc" Errors
Some of you have been getting this one. I have no idea why or how this works, but here's the fix:
Download WiiISORenamer.exe
Use WiiISORenamer.exe to open your SMG2 ISO.
In the GAMEID box change SB4E01 to RB4E01 and save.
Burn/load as usual.
