I fail to see a connection between the purpose of this thread (hardmodders regaining their out of region playability) with your question/statement about SMG2. There is a thread or guide for that game, and it mentions some hardmods work with it and some do not. Take a look, and remember you can always softmod the same Wii and play the game (following the cited guide, of course).
I still reading about wii mods and find it a little bit confusing, but I'm learning more.
I am on 4.3E with a drivekey 2.0 and so I guess I am now region locked. At the moment I would like a region free wii until such time as I have read enough to softmod. If I do this, will I need to follow your "soft modding 4.3 virgin" guide or will it be as if it is a 4.1?
I have an NTSC indiana jones (wii is Pal) and could use this for the indy pnl exploit in the future.
On a separate note, if my wii is 4.1 and my drivekey is the new BCA approved type, should I technically be able to play all games now? Or do I need to softmod and install the approprite IOS etc?
Sorry if some of this isn't appropriate for this thread.
Have 4.3J Wii when I hit the SD on the channel menu it trys to load up then goes to a black screen stating an error. So does dop-mii and this guide not work for 4.3 Wii's?
The guide will work but you have to load DOP-Mii from the Homebrew Channel.
Bannerbomb does not work on 4.3

Damn I suck!!!!
1 User Says Thank You Krank For This Useful Post
HBC stands for Homebrew channel yeah? (Bit new too this Wii stuff)
Not sure what Bannerbomb is (just did a quick Google) but if it doesn't work I guess I don't need to know!
I'll try and find a thread about shoving the HomeBrew Channel onto a 4.3J. Thanks mann
Damn, nightmare trying to find a thread on installing Homebrew to 4.3J the search feature is mental.
When I hit my "You Have X Unread Posts" button too it just throws me to what I think is the "New Posts" section.
Not my day today!!
