Could you please point me to it. Been looking for it in "http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-faqs-guides-tutorials-only/60921-guide-softmod-any-wii.html" but having trouble locating it.

Can you perform this process via HBC with 4.3e? I have Waninkoko's latest cIOS installed to IOS 249. Pretty sure I can just use his WAD Manager and NUSD to get 4.1 (as well as Prii thing to block updates)

    Read the 4.3 spoiler.
You do not have to install the HBC, but it is optional if you would like to.

    Delete sd:\bootmii
    Delete sd:\boot.elf
Keep sd:\private -you still need this folder
    Extract 4.3-region Free.zip to sd:\
I don't understand the first 2 lines here, I assume I am meant to download something, run it and then remove those 2 folders however nothing before this part of the guide contains a download link, only after these 2 steps is a download link provided.
    Am I meant to:

    1) Perform
    Extract 4.3-region Free.zip to sd:\
    first and then...
    2) Run the SD card via the BootMii option in HBC
    3)
After the initial install (presumably it runs the cIOS installer) delete those 2 folders
    4) Run any WAD manager to install the System Menu WADs?

Edit: It won't let me merge the 2 initial quotes together via deleting the erroneous [quote][/quote] tags D: the Save button doesn't save the changes!

In step 1 you download a disc exploit and extract it to your sd card
This exploit link is in step 1, it contains
sd:\private -this is the disc exploit file
sd:\boot.elf -this is the hackmii installer

So in step 1 you load the hackmii installer, which installs bootmii ios. Optionally you could prepare your sd card and load bootmii to make a nand backup. So the hackmii installer may or may not create sd:\bootmii during step 1.

After step 1 is done, you exit the hackmii installer to the HBC if you installed it or back to the system menu if you did not install HBC
You delete from your sd card
sd:\bootmii -if you have this you don't want it
    sd:\boot.elf -the hackmii installer
This step probably is not required as extracting the file in step 2 should just overright those two files. Anyway
In step 2 you extract the second file pack to your sd card
Then you either load the disc exploit again, or load bootmii from HBC- this will load MMM and allow you to downgrade your wii. Then install priiloader to block any future updates.

Kk so since I have Bootmii and HBC already installed, I just need the 2nd package (and the system menu package obviously) and to use the BootMii option in the HBC or the disk exploit. Follow the prompts and install the 4 WAD's.

Use use the step 2 files and load bootmii in HBC, this will load MMM via cboot2.

Success, System Menu 4.1e is now running on my Wii, thanks for the help and assurances now one final question before I leave this thread. Why does the package not contain the latest (v0.7) Priiloader?

This guide was made for hardmods without the HBC. Priiloader 0.6/0.7 does not load from MMM and it needs AHBPROT or a patched ios36. So it would not install with the methods in this guide without extra steps. You are welcome to install it

Hi, is there a SIMPLE (Jargon free) step by step guide of what to do to get back from version 4.3e to whatever it was prior?

I dont use the Wii & dont have much of a technical mind, other than knowing that that my kids chipped Wii no longer plays non original games. Thanks
