Same behavior here.

Worked like a charm.
D3-2 with Drive Key Fusion v1.4. ZERO problem. Now on fw 4.1 using PAL/NTSC ISOs.

No code found to load, hanging.
I tried to cut the console off with power buttons & it didn't do nothing, should I yank the plug?

This same information is stated fully and correctly in his full softmod guide; this is merely a separated thread on that single, specific issue.
ok well I got the 2GB normal SD Card, Im fixin to extract the Hackmii.zip file to it. when I stick it back in the console will the card reader pick it up and start, or is there somthing I need to do to reboot the "hanging"? Thanks nightstah
EDIT: for the record I had to pull the power cord to get the "hanging" to refresh.. after that read everything 3 times followed instructions and everything's good, playing backups now! Thanks MauiFrog!

I'm just a little confused about the 3 files I need to extract to my sd card; do I extract them all to the sd card before I begin this process or do I extract them at different times and if so when? Will this process of downgrading my system menu version enable me to install a region-free mod chip like wiikey fushion? Thanks. I'm kinda new to all this.

If you are talking about:
then yes. Download them all at the same time and place on your SD card and yes this is to enable your chip to play region free games.
edit: forgive me..... you did exactly what you was supposed to do. I don't know what I was thinking....

I'm talking about the Hackmii.zip, 4.3-regionfree.zip and the 4.1u-system menu-NUS-v449.zip files.

Yes. The first download pack is Multi Mod Manager and the second download is the System Menu based on your region. In your case you are pointing out 4.1U. Both are needed for the process to continue.

So the answer is yes, I extract all 3 files to the SD card using my computer first then proceed with the process? I don't need the homebrew channel do I? It doesn't say I do, but other ways to downgrade I've read always requires the homebrew channel . And as far as the process goes, will I be prompt and just have to follow the on-wii instructions? Is this like soft-modding or no? Sorry for all the questions but I wanna be certain I know what I'm doing and do it right. I really appreciate your help. Thanks again.
