    Monster Hunter 3 Tri

I was wondering, if I went out and bought Monster Hunter 3 Tri, if I could still play online. My console is updated to 4.2 with homebrew (I would have to check the version). When I try to play discs from the main menu it tell me that I have to update the system, so I just use neogamma and backuploader. However, the wii shop channel also gives me that same error. Basically, I was wondering if these issues would prevent me from being able to go online with Monster Hunter 3 Tri, or if Nintendo could detect that I have a hacked wii and attempt to brick it some how?

    Thanks for your time!!

Why don't you just block updates with your modchip if you are concerned?

Games run under IOS and unless Nintendo put special code into their games to verify System menu versions then you will have no issues, and besides even if they did I am sure a workaround would be found.

Never update System Menu officially or you will lose all homebrew and cIOS, probably.

Block any updates with Priiloader or avoid with Neogamma/USB Loader.

I guess that it is BCA protected?

How exactly does one block the system updates btw, and still be allowed to play the game?

I have an useless Argon chip by the crappy Infectus team, but I don't wanna softmod before I really have to

I am gonna get this crappy chip changed in time, but I might as well wait until about all games I want are out, and get the best chip then rather than now...
