    major league baseball 2k12

Having trouble installing major league baseball 2k12 to my USB hdd. I've backed up all my other games so I know my USB loaders work but for some reason this game stops at 94% when using USB loader GX and 14% on CFG loader. Havent tried wii flow yet. Fyi I successfully soft modded with mauifrogs guide and it went flawlessly. Anyone else having this issue or should I do something different???? Thanks.

Have you checked into backing up another game temporarily to make sure there are no hardware failures here? PLUS, are you SURE that this disc is as scratchproof as it can be? (i.e. Cleaning it/Checking it/etc)?

    Skeptical?

Actually I hadn't done either of those things! Haha. I'll try them out thanks.

So I just tried a different game and it got stuck at 52 percent. This is odd because I backed up 6 other games tonight and everything was working perfectly. Should I reformat the drive or something? I'm lost.

Are you talking about your USB drive? Are you sure you have enough space???

Yes my Seagate free agent go 500gb hdd which has about 465gb of free space. And was working fine until I tried MLB 2k12.

    Oh boy... Ummmm... Try this:
    1) Get ready
    2) Hit this guide, to REsoftmod your wii: LINK!
    3) It CAN be boring, but follow it precisely, start from scratch, backup your games on your HDD before doing anything (I'd recommend doing this overnight, since, eh well, 40GB isn't too much...)
    4) Follow the guide, and any, and I mean any problems you have with following the guide, ask, and we'll walk thru it together.
    5) Report back

*Note: This process can seem time consuming, but... it took me .5hrs to do this, so it shouldn't take any longer than an hour.

Thanks angel. So just so I'm clear as to what you're suggesting.... you're saying copy my backed up games on my HDD to somehwere else... then follow mauifrogs guide (again)... as in the same process that I did when I originally soft modded?

I just want to make sure that there's no chance of me bricking the wii by overwriting/ reinstalling everything I did.

I verified the check sums with no errors and I was watching the batch installs of the wads and I didn't see any errors. Is there another place where I could have messed up?

Ok. So you backed up your games, redid the guide, md5'd the checksums installed the wads and installed the apps?

Btw there'd no chance of wii-brick in this scenario if you followed the guide thoroughly.

Ok so here is the update - I ripped the same games that were giving me problems to my SD card and they both worked fine. So I narrowed it down to a HDD problem. I am using various Windows utilities and other programs (Ease) to check for bad sectors, clean them up and all of that stuff (I used a 3 year old drive and only did a quick format when I partitioned it for the wii). Hopefully it will work.

Eek as long as you did a bad sectors check, then you MAY be ok... B/c the full format does this automatedly.
