Does the name Wii bother you?

It has been many years since Nintendo announced that they were not going to stick with Revolution (the codename), and would be calling their upcoming console the Wii. Like many other people, I thought it was a stupid decision. I really liked the name "Revolution". It seemed appropriate, since Nintendo was introducing a whole new way of playing video games. While motion-controlls were not new, systems had required things like expansion packs; the "Revolution" was designed for motion control.

While I no longer punch the nearest puppy when hearing someone say "Wii" (that took two years of therapy ;)), I still hate the way it sounds. What about you?

I think you don't play with your Wii enough is what I think, Joostin (LOL).

The name appeals to the juvenile nature in me...I can't help it. I mean come on...Who here doesn't love spending hours up late at night alone playing with their Wii? :) i personally can't stand when people say Wiimote instead of Wii remote though. That's the only thing that annoys me about the name.

I've gone through 15 puppies and an ostrich in the past 6 years. Is that not normal? :confused:

Something one rarely does in the garden variety of therapy from the average (read: incompetent) therapist I might add, LOL. I wonder if such a thought is just dawning on Joostin :)
