Why does everyone always end the plural with '''s?''? The plural always ends with just a single ''s'', not a flying comma like I call it.

I do it because it shows that the final s is not part of the acronym. An example is cIOSs. The lowercase c is part of it, but the s isn't.

Moose is not an acronym. Besides, if goose becomes geese, shouldn't moose become meese?

I usually typ ''ISOs'' instead of ''ISO's'', and so do I do with ''PM''. Don't know if there'' any official rule for that, but I guess everyone has his or her own preference.

To clear it up for cornflake, take ''ape'' as an example. The singular form is ''ape'', the plural is ''apes''. Usually the flying commas are incorrect in a plural form.

Well when I type "PM" in plural, especially when talking to a woman I make sure to use the ' as in PM's. Because if I say hey are you getting a lot of PMs I get a different reaction then asking using PM's....
