    Wink

Well, I don't know what a "desktop" is, but this is what my computer screen usually looks like.

Thank you! and yes I am using compiz for the effects, i prefer eye candy like this myself, but when i need to focus and get to work on something i eliminate any and all distractions.

And vernacular, that is quite a nice desktop, rainmeter and the wallpaper blend in quite perfectly with each other.

and joostin, i think yours is the best one out of all of the ones shown so far

IE!?!?!? +100 coolness points for the site but -50 for the browser.

Lol, I knew someone was going to mention that. Let's try not to start a browser war. I like both browsers, and I use both. I personally prefer IE8+IEPro over FF, but that is just a personal preference. It's what I grew up using, and it's what I am more comfortable using.

As long as it gets you on the internet and to this site it's all good. I'm half tempted to re-install Windows lately just for the gaming aspect. Linux with WINE works well for a lot of games but I miss playing some games that just wont run like Crysis. But I still wouldn't use IE!

Mine is simple and clear. I can access most of my files by a simple click on one of the icons in RocketDock.

    Spoiler

    EDIT:

Mhhmm... Too large to fit in the spoiler. Guess I'll let it be.

Before Vista you had to use IE to see all available updates. Automatic updates didn't show optional ones.
