Flatmii (not125) and homebrew ok to do?

Hi all this is my first message so hello to all.

I recently got a wii and installed the original Flatmii not the 125 one.

I took the drive out and have it working on its own with no problems.

Was wanting to install homebrew, with the Flatmii is it a good idea and will it work ok?

I stupidly updated the wii so the current system on it is 4.2E, again would it be safe to run Flatmii and homebrew with this system?

    Any help much appreciated

Flatmii and homebrew won't interfere with eachother, you won't have any problems.
I've a flatmii in mine and I've softmodded it, and everything is working perfectly.
If you're on 4.2 then use messie's guide here.

Oh, and if you install priiloader, don't turn on the region free setting if you want to be able to play gamecube backups.
They won't won't show up in the disc channel if that setting is turned on.
I think it stops you from loading gamecube originals too. (If you want to use the region free option. you can always just turn it off every time you want to play a gamecube game)

Hi there I've home-brewed my wii already now got it working with external usb drive and GX loader.

Not got my Flatmii installed at moment might not bother now.

Trouble is with Flatmiii because I update to system 4.2e I cant run imports from it now.

Might sell it on hang onto to put in another wii

    Thanks again
