recently got a flatmii 125, i am encountering a couple of problems.
1 - whenever i disconnect power from the wii or unplug the flatmii 125 usb dongle, i always have to plug it back into my computer to get the flatmii 125 to play backup discs again. is there anyway to set/flash/default this to flatmod only?

2 - also after i play mario kart - original disc, i cannot play backup discs. i have to plug my computer back into the flatmii125 and unplug it for it to work again.

sorry if i am unclear, hoping the community here can help me out. i have email flatmii125 support and havent heard back yet.

I've got this exact problem and it is perplexing...

I've tried shielding it, etc to no avail. For some reason, the FlatMod mode does not persist when you unplug it. For some reason it likes the USB dongle. I'm hoping / praying that they update the firmware for this.

Please post here any findings and I will do the same. I'm trying different things to see if they work.

i tried everything you did. i was in contact with flatmii 125 support, they were not really helpful at all. they told me it was defective and was going to send me a new one. i gave up on it
disappointing since i had a flatmod previously and the thing worked flawless.
i have since installed a drivekey. sorry i couldnt help.
