been abit, but ya flatzii looks just like a external usb2.0 manager... really don't get it since you can control it all with the wii itself (softmod) and use the wii's drive to copy instead of the lg dvdrom way (like i do)unless i'm missing somthing about it, but hey, gotta make some $$$ somehow lol

updated mine, and windows to win7 and everything works fine, every new game except new super mario bro's works for me. and that one game has issues with everyone... try wiping the drivers from the device manager, restart then re-installing the original driver.. not the software, but the driver.

ya was just comming back in to mention, i had updated to 4.2u helping out another guy then ran through THIS TUTORIAL (be warned tho, i'm in the US and bought my WII and modded it way over a year ago, and with all the problems surrounding it, i wouldn't recomend doing it... think i just lucked out fist time thru). but i know it worked before that on my 3.2u. it almost sounds like a connection problem could be causing it since it all goes black, but if you havn't moved/dropped your wii or anything like that i would rule it out. also if other games run through it are stable you can rule it out too. i'm going to try the wii sports resort today with my kids, so i'll let you know if i have luck. other than the connection, or the drivers/software. (also let me know if you need the old driver to try, i still have it zipped up) have you updated any ios or installed any other software on the wii lately? just let me know about any of the files.. i rarely delete things that worked even when i update i keep the backup's.

...keep in mind too if you update your wii you have to re-install homebrew, if even possible, with the indiana or smash game disc trick.

on that note... since that new super mario came out and had/has tons of issues. i installed neogamma and everything else (including game backuups and homebrew) to my external WD 320gig (white to match my wii ) hard drive, formatted half in WBFS (for the games) and the rest in FAT32 (for all the files you usually keep on sd card) and THIS NEAT IPOD TYPE MENU to scroll through games easily. and have elimintated the need for the flatmii totally. if you have an external drive, flash drive etc.. and wanna run through this sometime (most games cut down from the 4.5gig to less than half) just take a look at that tutorial and Private Message me i'll run through it with you. its easy while its fresh in my mind having just done it recently and is way kool considering no more disc, don't have to have your computer attached while you play and easy game changes
