local mail delivered my wiikey2 and clip to the wrong address so i overnighted a flatmii as a quick solution. Easy to install and no more disc to mess with! its alil glitchy when booting up the wii with it plugged in. other than that it works great and plays every .iso i've loaded so far. so i'm kinda glad the way it worked out.

ok installing the flatmii was easy. i chose to install the flat mii as a standalone, because if you’re not using your wii dvd drive to load games what good is it then? to install the flat mii takes 3 cable connections (plug and play) after plugging in the mini usb to the computer hade to get the mini usb cable myself because it didn’t come with the kit) i was off to the races. all in all i would give it a A+ get one if you have a HTPC and you wii is right by it!!!!!!!

looking to getting this in conjunction with the wasabi zero. Anyone running that setup? If so any feedback with any issues/conflicts?

This would be awesome for when at home to use with my media pc but on the run when at friends houses to use the wasabi zero to boot backups via dvds.

Version 1.1 of the flatmii software has been released, it now includes remote iso loader.

Unfortunately I have not been able to figure out how to get this to work, I dont have the homebrew chanel so I tried the iso way but got lost when it came to getting the common key for trucha.

Has anyone used the remote loader and is it worth it?

Here is part of the notes from the remote loader,

Flatmii Remote iso selector is used on three different formats :

1.DOL , dol version for zelda's hack or HBC

2.WAD , channel version, just install it using some WAD manager

3.ISO , Not supplied for copyright reasons...just replace the main.dol on any
iso game disc using the specific tool (i.e. trucha) , banner, logo and
icon is supplied for the banner modifying of the selected game disc iso
