Weird problem on my wii
I recently got a wii that was from China, and I have no idea what modchip they used. Whatever the case, it's a modded japanese console and could play any game, but being semi bricked with the settings when i got it, i put the 2.88 patch or whatever it was that fixed it. Then I got carried away and upgraded to 3.3j from the internet. Now weird stuff starts happening. I could run Japanese games normally, even if they're backups, but when I put a US region disc, it gives the black screen error message. I have no idea with how to fix it, and I don't want to bother with homebrew yet, considering the modchip worked alright before the update. What should I do?
