New to D2PRO

Hi,
I'm a bit of a novice at all this. My son has a Wii and I've bought a D2PRO mod chip which I am going to install. I'll manage this ok hopefully. But the games are a problem. I've tried downloading with a torrent and it looks like it would take days on end to get game. Is usenet better? I've tried a trial $3 dollar version and just can't get it to work (although I think it might be their fault), does anyone know the procedure for downloading via usenet? I understand it could be a lot quicker.

Any advice on this question and other related stuff would be greatly appreciated. I'm swimming in waters I know nothing of here!

thanks.

For Newsservers, you need a Newsreader, a couple of free ones are Alt-Binz -> alt.binz | Usenet progy and Grabit -> Shemes.com :: Home

You will need to subscribe to a Newserver service or use your free trial
Current best deal if you want to subscribe is -> news.astraweb.com - Signup with us

Setup the Server connection in the newsreader based on the server information provided by the NewsServerr service

Then use one of many NZB search sites such as
NZBMatrix: NZB Usenet Downloads. NZBs Downloads
NZBsRus.com - Usenet Newsgroup NZB File Search Service
Merlin's Portal - 100% Free NZB Downloads
United-Forums.co.uk :: Index
and list of many others -> 28 Free NZB Sites

Download the NZB file and open it up in your newsreader and away you go

Oh and you may need quickpar to repair any damaged files ->QuickPar for Windows
