Is anyone having problems with this game?

I burned a copy and the game loads just fine, about 1 minute into the game the background sound goes (crowd and music) and all you can here is the basketball bouncing.

Also if you press the home button the game freezes.

Is there a fix out there?

Hi,
ok so after got a lot of information from everywhere and try a lot of thing, and help for some friend, (credit to jtan0980 !) , here is the procedure for newbies ! Like me.. this time, really detailed. Excuse my english but i'm usually french !

So.. I make NSMB working nice on four wii this afternoon.. here is the config of those wii.. so i think the procedure should run well on numerous wii..

1) system 4.2u, wiikey 1
2) system 4.2u, drivekey
3) system 4.2u, d2sun
4) system 4.2u, wiikey 2

so.. here we go..

1) download this file

this file contain all the necessary on the sd card for the procedure to work

2) open your wii and click on "sd" card, insert your sd card and click on "yes" when prompted to run boot.elf file.

install the homebrew and the dvdx and if your wii is compatible, the bootmii.

3) this step is optionnal.. just for security !
you can now poweroff / on your wii and if you've installed bootmii, bootmii will appear. In this bootmii, you can go the options (last icon) with the power key (!) and select it with the "reset" (!), after that select the first icon to make a nand backup to your sd card..

4) start homebrew channel
install the TBR (trucha bug restore)
you can follow this nice guide for this installation

5) install cios 38 v 15
the previous tutorial talk about v14 but that is the same thing for the v15.
if the installation fail on IOS36 (with a -1035 code i think), you can use IOS250 for the installation process.

6) find the qwiif release the game and patch it with the previously link provided and burn it at 4x

You need the QwiiF NTSC release of the game (UNPATCHED!)
Copy the contents of the Rar above to the same directory as your ISO.
Run the .bat file.
Wait !

it will produre a new ISO file named qf-nsmbw.fixedv2.iso, this is the new file that you need to burn.
the file should have the same size than the qf-nsmbw.iso, if it's not the case, something goes wrong with the batch file (probably MD5 test who has not passed)

Burn your new ISO ( qf-nsmbw.fixedv2.iso )

7) enjoy the game with neogamma provided on the zip file at the beggining of this message

8) if you'd prefer to play it within the disc channel,
you have to make one more step

use DOP-IOS and apply the trucha bug to IOS 70 (for 4.2u), i don't know about the other IOS associated to other system menu, and to IOS 53.

Enjoy the game within disc channel..

Hello, everyone. I'm Fulcon, and I'm looking for modders. This certainly seemed like the place to look, so here I am.

Now, a lot of people are unsatisfied with Twilight Princess. They feel it lacks in many areas. They feel it's repetetive. I'm one of the 'haters'. So I recently put together a small community on another forum that is dedicated to creating The Twilight Princess: Master Quest Mod. We plan on many changes and additions, as well as subtractions.

However, there's one small problem; I don't know crap about how to mod. I don't know anyone who can, either.

So that's why I'm here. I'm looking for volunteers. Anyone who can mess around with Wii game code is welcome. We are, specifically, looking for soft modding the game, rather than hard modding.

HELP!! How do i run NSMB Retail (not a coppy) on a modded Wii?

I have bought NSMB Wii, only thing is that i can't seem to get it working without using the disc update.... can someone point me in the right direction?

My Wii is softmodded, sys 4.2 and i use the usb loader.

Muramasa: The Demon Blade Error

I have a softmodded wii using the latest guides and cIOSCORP 3.5 (I know, shame on me) with 60+ burned games working perfectly fine. That is until I tried playing a burned copy of Muramasa: The Demon Blade in which I received... "An error has occurred. Press the Eject Button and remove the disc, then turn the Wii console off and refer to the Wii operations... Blah, Blah, Blah." I have gone back and re-tested my collection and all are still working and I only seem to get that error when trying to play Muramasa. I'm stumped, any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

New Super Mario Bros with WiiKey

So I purchased the new super mario game (NTSC) and wanted to back it up but ran into difficulties. First I used the Rawdump 2.1 to dump the image to the HD. From there I burned it to a DVD and ran into the 7 Minute copy protection. I read the guide on the thread [GUIDE] New Super Mario Bros, but it is a bit more difficult to follow since i created my own image. I use a wiikey to play back up copies of games but this one seem difficult to back up. Does any one have suggestions? I have all the programs and files from the [GUIDE] New Super Mario Bros page but the order and how to use them escapes me. Help??:(

To everyone having a problem with SoftMod PAL Wii/New Super Mario Bros - Simple Guide

If your stuggling getting the DVD way to work, try this. This is guaranteed working for any Softmod users on PAL machines. Im on 3.2E, using CIos rev14. I know this is covered in every corner of the internet but all the threads are now full of useless, contradictory information.

1. Download any copy of the game, patched, unpatched whatever.

2. Download and run WiiBrickBlocker, change 'langue' to English, Click on Read Info then click on Patch.

When you press 'View Info' you will see what version of the game you have, region, etc etc.

3. Use WiiScrubber and use the directions below to replace boot.dol inside the ISO. This makes the game now a 'patched' version. There are many versions of the ISO around now youll never know if its actually been patched unless you do it yourself.

a) Make a backup copy of your ISO image
b) Start WIIScrubber.
c) Click on "Load ISO" and load you copy of the game..
d) Look for Main.dol and right click it and selet 'replace', choosing the main.dol you download earlier to replace it with.
e) If you get 'bad data' showing when you load your iso, look in the folder that the wiiscrubber program is located and run 'makekeybin.exe' and enter 42. Ten press generate and WiiScrubber will work.
f) Save the ISO.

5. Download and install the WAD copy of neogamma, so it installs as a channel not a SD card program.

b) Put the .wad in x:\wad (where x is the drive letter of your SD card) and go into the homebrew channel --> run wadmanager. Press reset or A (sometimes A doesnt work) to install the wad you put into the WAD folder, from there is will be on your channels list.

6. Using WBFS manager create a WBFS formatted SD card with your NSMB iso on. This will not load properly unless you successfully install .net framework 3.5SP1. If you have installed it and you get an error from WBFS, google .net cleaner, clean your crap out, do a fresh install (about 200mb download) and try again. Took me a while to get it working.

WBFS Manager (requires .net framework 3.5SP1, installer included (3mb bootstrapper, downloads 60mb if you require it)

7. Load up Neogamma from the channels homescreen.

8. Ensure you force NTSC video 480p in the neogamma config screen.

9. Insert your NSMB SD Card, Change DVD to SD card, mount WBFS card.

10. Play NSMB.

I have gone through so many threads with so much useless shit on them / people asking for help, not being able to do things simply. Do it above, it will work. It does not crash at world 1-3.

I have a wii 4.2 with sof mad neo gammer 7 and i got it to work thru the ubs GX but was wondering if anyone been able to burn it to a dvd and get it to work ? Ifr so how do i do that. Help Thank You roadstar

You need the QwiiF NTSC release of the game (UNPATCHED!)
Copy the contents of the Rar above to the same directory as your ISO.
Run the .bat file.
Wait!
Burn your new ISO.
Enjoy!

i've been looking for a file to help with the installation of: Guitar.Hero.World.Tour-A.A.Required.DLC.Installer-OneUp

the instructions are as follows:
1 - Install SONG.wad using SONG WAD install option

2 - Install sXEE_v27_20091027_00.wad using TITLE FILES WAD install option

i have the song wad, but i can't find this one sXEE_v27_20091027_00.wad

anyone have it? or any other help would be great i know the installer is for GH World Tour, but i read it also applies to GH5. I've also tried the hack by Hairyballsagna, but with no luck.

I'm on a softmodded USA Wii ver 3.2u and i'm using Softchip to load from disc

Hey i have been having problems with newer wads on wadmanager. I get to the start screen, but when i press start, it loads for a while and goes to the wii menu again. I am sure this is just a newb problem, but could someone help me?

Just would like to know is there any benifit in Upgrading firmware to 4.1E and will all my games still work or will i need to do ALOT of tweaking to get them working again. That is my bigest fear. I ask because i'm having trouble with RB beatles mic sync. And i usually get them working but this has got me.

Hi,
Have been trying this for about 3 days now. The mic i have will not sync with
RB Beatles. Works fine with GH5. I'm on softmod 3.2e. Have installed ios 56-64v5146.wad and MultIOS with 37 as 232 and still no joy. Help. Both games come up with error trying to load from disc channel but work with neogamma R8.
Has anyone got it to work on 3.2e and how. Can you post links to files that are needed please if so.
