1 i have HBC installed it runs fine, but half of the time when i load something in there like wad-manager it hangs black screen wiimote is off. then i restart and then wadmanager works. This happens almost everytime.

2 I installed bootmii and then preloader, preloader works but it says HBC is not installed or i think not named correctly. To get into HBC through preloader i need to re install it through hackmii/bootmii.

Thanks for your help.

I have a d2ckey installed. I was on 4.1U. I also have bootmii and preloader 0.29. And now when I load the system menu, it comes up as corrupt.

The last thing I did was trying to load IOS53 and IOS60 as wads. Maybe that wasn't correct. I was trying to get the new super mario bros. working.

Any ideas to fix the problem?

Ok I was on my Homebrew last night, and decided to download Gecko. Ok I have no idea what it was, I thought it was a alternate way to load up games but none of my burned games play through it. Im not crying too much about it, because I have the back-up channel and the USB Loader doing a fine job of loading my games.

But I would like to know what GECKO is and how to get it work properly and what it purpose is

I was wondering if there were any programs out there that would let me transfer files(roms/emu/apps) across my home network to my fat32 partition. I searched the forums and google but I couldn't find anything.

Also, is there any way to configure USB Loader GX to not need an SD card? I set all the custom directories to point to USB but if I restart the loader and remove my SD card, all my settings are gone.

Hey,
I have been using my SD card to watch movies etc. with Mplayer up to now. I have a USB drive now that I want to use.
It mounts ok, and plays the video, but it buffers constantly.
Any thoughts on what may be the cause? Would the USB 2.0 patch be worth installing?
Info:
Mplayer 0.75
Seagate 500GB ext drive
Wii 4.1 system, with cios 38
