And all seems to work fine, only the response time from the WiiMote & Game Cube controller is not right. There's a small delay, but still enough to make gameplay worthless. Especially with games where timing is crucial, Megaman ect.

I didn't want to reply to an older post in case it was too old and i got told off.

basically, i have got a stock wii after they (nintendo) announced they were dropping support for the console so i thought it would be a good time to jump in (lot of peeps selling and no more regular updates etc to deal with after mod)

And looking at some demo videos ,decided i wanted to have a small wii library and some emulated games all selected via wiiflow on hdd for my daughter.
I have gotten so for but now i'm stuck...

what i have done so far:

figured out version (4.3e) and mac address
soft modded via mailbomb following online 'how to mod any wii' (so, no boot2)
backed up my 'nand' to pc with preloader
made my wii boot to wiiflow (recent version as of may15 2013)
backed up some of my wii disks to my pc then to wbfs.
got an external usb drive and split it to 50gb FAT32 (primary) 200gb ntfs
put all my wbfs folders in wbfs folder on ntfs.
added masterpiece(new version) and postloader successfully (i think)

where i am:

boots to wiiflow (slow) but fine! and all my wii titles are selectable and fully playable via ntfs hdd.
i press 'b' to get back to selection screen and all the consoles are listed.
click on any and i am asked to 'select partition'
put my few roms on the usb drive and i cannot browse to them or figure out how to add them.

what i want to do:
I'd like to be able to get to the stage where i can still boot to wiiflow , then browse wiiflow and select games including those emulated, as in youtube vid 'emuflooow 8'


Is it simply directory structure, file placement, search terms or a whole 'nother step i'm missing?
I don't expect anyone to walk me through but if you could point me in the right direction i would be grateful :) there must be walkthroughs somewhere but i'm wearing my 'search' button out!! :)

I've had issues playing some games (Metroid Other M, Zelda Skyward Sword, etc.). Now USB Loader won't even start (black screen). So I figured it's time I update my system. I honestly don't even remember the original steps I went through to mod this thing, so any advice would be great... I'd hate to brick it trying some silly update.

I'm currently running firmware version 4.0u. I don't believe I ever installed Priiloader, and unfortunately I get an error when I try to install (system ticket not found, access denied).

Now I believe I am ready to begin updating my wii, but I am a bit confused about where the Softmod ANY Wii says: "Remove all GC controllers, GC memory cards, USB devices." I presume GC means "Gamecube"? If the modifications to the SD card on being done on my PC, I presume then that this means these devices should be removed from the Wii when executing the files that have been installed on the SD card from the Wii? Just to make sure I understand, I currently have the external USB hard drive installed, a couple of memory cards, and that is all. I just downloaded Naruto Clash of Ninja Revolution 3 by copying it from a disc via Usb Loader Gx. For some reason after I opened Usb Loader Gx after I downloaded the game, it has a bunch of blank spacese where games were suppose to be, and after I click something, it Freezes. I tried wii flow and it works perfectly. However I prefer Usb Loader gx because of it's ability to copy games from discs. Can somebody help me fix this problem? I want to copy a Mario Party 8 save to my Wii. I have the game as an ISO, and have played it through USBLoaderGX and CFGLoader. There was a save on my Wii for the game after I played it. I wondered if I could copy a save from online to my Wii System memory. So, I deleted the save from my Wii, and tried to copy the online save that was on my SD Card (and yes, I know I placed it in the right place). But it said "You must play this game first" or whatever. It wouldn't let me copy the save. I assume that it was because the Wii has logged the playtime as "USB Loader GX" instead of "Mario Party 8", as it can't possibly log the ISO's you play.

Is there a way to bypass this? Could PriiLoader help? I'm realy new to this kind of stuff,
I had a wii with system version 4.2 and updated it to 4.3e.
4.2 was softmodded and i just updated (while it was softmodded) to 4.3e

when it was finished i still had the homebrew channel and the other channels, but USB Loader GX crashed after that, WiiFlow did the samething
and when i opend mightyloader i got this message:
*ERROR: I can't load IOS249 (ret = -6)

I googled on that exact prashe and luckily i found this topic:

The answer was: Just re-softmod your wii!
I used letterbomb clicked on install Bootmii, didn't installed the homebrew channel again.

But i still get the error message! I hope somebody can help me out with this ;)
