First time I've posted, and its about my Wii being bricked, that's luck :)

Well here goes, used this guide to the letter for installing HBC and NeoGamma R8 Beta12 so that I could play the new super mario bros.
Didn't work, so I tried with another game, which loaded just fine, so figured I would try to load it though USB instead of as disc.
Used WBFS manager to format a 4gig usb flash drive, and transfer the iso onto it. Put in into the Wii slot, turned the power on and BAM only a black screen when starting the Wii.

The disc drive trieds to load a disc or whatever, but nothing happens beyond that point. The disc led flashes only ones, and the screen flickers at the moment when i turn on the Wii.

I couldnt install BootMii as boot2, so went for the other option + created a backup of the nand just in case. I no there was something about loading it was not recommended but hey its a backup.
Using the 4.2E system menu, so it's a PAL, with only the nessesary items installed from the guide, no wad other then HBC installed.

I have a DriveKey installed and working, but as a test i disabled it for check if the softmod was working correctly. Also no autoload feature enabled.

i managed to brick my wii (not sure how)
i have a wiikey 1.9s, the wii was on 3.3e
i hadnt used it in over a year but wanted to play NSMB but after reading about all the issues thought i would need to update to 4.2e and make some mods to the IOS (again not 100% sure what i am up to:( )

i followed the guide here:

and successfully installed bootmii and made a nand backup prior to updating

i then followed this guide as i had the impression i needed to (did i?)

after that my HBC was upside down so i tried this guide

but it didnt work.

assuming i had screwed something up (and expecting that i would, hence the nand backup) i proceeded to restore the backup
i intially got an error so used the following command to get the restore to take
copy /B nand.bin + key.bin newnand.bin

after that i had a black screen after the bootmii screen whether i loaded the wii or the HBC
i tried a tool Bootmii-KEYFIX.exe
and did another restore but have the same issue.

i assumed my backup must have corrupted and i tried the sticky on this forum (unbrick with bootmii but no nand backup)
but i cant get wadmanager to load (black screen)

can anyone tell me what i have done, or what i can do to get out of this.

However, I thought i dont have to instal ios-64. So i only install the systemmeun through WAD. Now it became worse. I could not even ger preload to load. Is there any way to unbrick it? I ran Anyregion Changer 1.b and it says my System Manager / Area are not matched (but it displays Europe for all regions and PAL)
I tried to install 3.2e but it gives me error messages.

Basically guys what I need to know is how the hell can i get back into my wii settings? Is there some way of downgrading my system manager or am i screwed? My Wii is Hardmodded. I am not even sure what sysem manager i have now!

Im a complete noob and cant get my head around all this ios, bannerbomb, sm versions etc....

I tried all procedures and even went to the art room in Indy Jones but the Homebew Install didnt kick in.

I am going to try Zelda Twilight to get this working......I basically want to use hackmii Installer 0.6 and Auto Region Changer 1.1 to change my wii back to SM3.2e and change the region to PAL to repair.....is this correct?

Any help would be great cos im at my wits end now!

My WII is Hardmodded with not Softmod or Channels installed.

I went through the softmod Tut. With my Wii I then made a copy of Bootmii, I installed USB loader GX and all was fine and I backed up Wii sports and it worked.

I try to load wiiflow and it looks like I had banner bricked my wii.
I used preloader and got back to the HBC. My issue is that I went into WAD manager and removed some WADs and in my new found wisdom I think I removed IOS60 along with IOS222 & IOS249.

Now when I turn my Wii on all I get is a black screen.
Thanks to Tealc I have found out that I do not have Boot2 on my Wii.
The system is Aussie PAL V4.1.

I have tried the Tut on Fully Brick, Bootmii/boot2 installed but No Nand Backup? Solution Here!
But no luck I might be doing something wrong.

This is my first post ever; I had to come to the pros after I have read over all forums and not come across a similar problem. I have a Wii with a first gen WiiKey installed and 3.2U. Everything was working fine until I ran cIOS downgrader so I could install an external HD. Great program when used correctly; however I made 2 big mistakes. 1. I forgot my internet was turned off via settings menu and 2.after booting up the program I accidentally hit "run" instead of "exit". This updated my wii to the incorrect IOS (first one listed) and now I am semi-bricked. I have found many forums that address this problem, the best being Emperor of Canada's Tutorial ([Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register]). The problem I have is it fails when I run IOS downgrader [Step 1] or cIOS downgrader [Step 2], because I cannot connect to the internet (error 116) or go thru the system menu (opera screen). I should also note that I have HBC installed and my system boots backups fine. I have a banner bricked wii and an autoboot enabled wasabi dx, i bought a savemii as i couldn't be bothered with the savemiifrii everytime (lazy i know). My wii can get to the recovery mode but when it try to boot off ANY disk (Original game, Backup game, Unbrick Disk) the firmware version disappears but it just sits at a black screen and doesn't go any further.

At first i thought that this was a problem with my wii and how i'd stuffed it up but when i try and do the same on my other working wii it just does the same.

i don't have BootMii or Preloader on either of them.

Any help or pearls of wisdom would be GREATLY appreciated as i feel i'm getting closer to a resolution but it seems tantalizingly out of reach
