HDD to DVD player

iv just got my dvd player set back up and decided to test my HDD in it so i pluged it in and it reads my hdd so i navagate to a movie and bam it playes lol but 1 problem NO volume any idea what the problem could be ??




another problem is after setting up the dvd player i put i dvd in and it worked fine and played the whole film so decided to put another film in and it gives a disc read error so tryed a different dvd and the same thing happend and tryed it again and the dvd try judt poped open on its own everyt time i close it any ideas thanks

ok did some more testing and i tried 1 movie and it had sound and i tried a few others but no sound ?? any ideas what it could be ??
