In the tutorials section I believe there is a guide for usb loading. and you can play your emulators off the loader as well.

Im sorry I just realized how vague that question was. I want to load and play emulators from the CFG is this guide still the best way to do that?

yeah the links dont work anymore and the last file (above your post) doesnt have the right parts to it.

    steps are ???
1)install various emus onto wii or sd card
2)transfer roms into their respective folders
3)click create iso file and burn iso file to dvd
4)insert dvd into wii and mount 'image' with one of the 3 usbloaders and onto main wii home channel
5)click on channel to auto play iso ?

im confused because loading the iso would mean that the emus are also on said iso?
am i not manually loading each emu from the hbc browser or through wad files and the sd card?
how did you fit all the .z64 files onto a dvd ? the dvd's i was using said i was short 208mb.
if i already have the iso of each perspective systems roms can that be used?

i appologize for all the questions its just i dont have access to a larger usb thumbdrive and my usbhdd requires a password each startup so i cant use that, but i do have about 30 blank dvds that ive been trying various methods and i keep getting errors that the wii64 cannot find "/" or dvdx2 not found.

    Guide excerpt on the above:

You must use the included emulators, do not update or install different versions of the emulators.

Don't worry, it is all there and it works, you may have to play around with it for a while to get the hang of it.

    This one as well:

Keep in mind, this thread's three years old and no longer supported. I suggest you check out the source link for further information (in post #1, page #1).

i burned a blank rom'd iso just to see if it would work and it does!! i had to also mess with neros burning software when creating the iso since i kept getting errors and had to burn under 'udf' whatever that means but it let me burn a bigger iso and loads up fine!

apparently i have reg dvds so i need dual layers. my next plan is to buy one of those ide/sata >>> usb adapters and use that as my dedicated external hdd and then ill recreate the iso's and mount those image directly onto said hdd. this method seems almost too perfect compared to going the hbc browser and manually installing each emu. but hey its a learning process. my dream that i want to accomplish with my wii is to be able to turn it on and go straight to the emulators. without having to click on channels etc (if thats possible).

You obviously didn't read what was quoted to you. And That last statement, you're saying on the Wii? If so, you're a dreamer and exist in a plane other than reality.

who said anything about using the adapter i was speaking of on the wii? as far as i know i dont even know if wii's have big 3.5" ide hdds. (you should already know if they do/dont) which you could just reply with a yes or no it is compatible and that would of been suffice. but to answer your question yes i am a dreamer thats why i finally bought a wii. because i want to use it as a emulator station to play in my current reality.

You spoke about getting dual layered discs. The quotation I gave you says it supports single layer/4.37gb discs. The plan you mentioned involved that host bridge adapter for use of virtually mounting images. I don't see how you'd access that from the Wii unless you were suggesting that would be a possibility. It is not.
