If you are seeing your BIOS in your isos folder you definitely have stuff in the wrong folders. There is a compatibility list in my guide and instructions of where to put the files and what to name the BIOS.

This is quite evident, it's in your guide, it's in other threads, and I posted it on page 2.

Do you have the wiisx folder on the root of your SD card? The WiiSX folder will contain 3 more folders, bios, isos, saves. The bios file you downloaded goes in the bios folder (bios is needed), the ISO goes in the isos folder. That's all there is to it.
I guess some directions are a bit tough to follow.

I wonder if he is using the newest version of the emulator, didn't the older version have the bios in with the game ISO's?

I don't quite get the question. Your BIOS go in bios (/wiisx/bios). If they are not named correctly (SCPH1001.BIN) they will not work.

ok thats where I'm stuck now, looked through your tutorial and didnt find anything on what to rename the bios,am I wrong or should they be DATA files before they are renamed?they were not .bin files till I removed part of the name from .bin.ecm to just .bin which changed them to data files, sound correct?

I didn't mention it because I didn't have to rename my BIOS. They were correct from the start. For some emulators like UAE Wii it is an actual step because no BIOS will ever be named correctly for the emulator but if you have the correct BIOS for WiiSX you shouldn't have to rename anything and they will already be in .bin form. That doesn't mean other BIOS won't work when named correctly though. I helped someone who had some random BIOS from a pack for the PSP or something so they were named wrong. All they had to do was name them correctly. It's kind of hard to tell what you are doing and what you are downloading from random corners of the internet.

It's one file. You need one specific BIOS file named SCPH1001.BIN.

WiiSX wont let you boot games from .cue. You need to launch them from the .bin file.

    No compressed .ecm files either.

Make sure you go into the settings and tell it to look for the bios in your SD card not HLE.

Remember to add all of these paths to the root of your SD card.

    wiisx/bios
    wiisx/saves
    wiisx/isos
