Anyway, I'm talking about my graphing calculators (yes, I had three). That is actually how I got into programming. I started out with small stuff like quadratic equation solvers, but eventually moved on to making my own games. It turned out to be too big of a project, but I was part of a team that made an operating system for TI-83+'s. It never got past the alpha stage though.

Yeah...PC emulation is driving me nuts. I was a bit frustrated when I gave the description. I don't think the guy that ported it cared about it. I was amazed to unzip the file and find a single boot.elf with nothing else. I found what to call the folders for the games on a PC emulation site where you can download the ROMs for it. There is like zero support for this emulator.

I wasn't allowed to play video games growing up (unless I was at a friend's house). It wasn't until a Church sent me a GB and a few games (we were missionaries) that my parents started to ease up.

My mom did whatever she could to keep me off the streets. We didn't live in the nicest areas. She knew if she could pre-occupy me and support my interest I would be home not getting into trouble. It was easy as a kid but not so easy as I got older. That's probably why she moved us to the suburbs. Not that I was ever the violent criminal type, more the mischievous rebellious fool type.
