    Wii64 Boot from HDD

Has anybody been able to use Wii64 to play games from their external hard drives? I have tried with a few differnt drives, and have had zero luck. It tells me it cant find the directory, even though it is there. Any advice?

Also, is it yet possible to play gamecube games from a HDD?

think he talks of the emulater itself.

try google too if you can't find something in the forum (though an emulator section is somewhere around)

here found that one, hope that helps
I managed to get it to work at long last! Simply create a folder called Wii64 and then one called roms inside that on the HDD. Then place your rom files in there but ensure they are the right format! See the wiki info on wiibrew site for more details on that.

Ok guys, I found a good resource on this problem. It turns out the Homebrew Channel 1.0.8 is to new for the Wii64 1.1 Release. The emulator does not run with 1.0.8. So I am trying to figure out how to run two HBC on my Wii. 1.0.8, and 1.0.6. Any advice?

i think they have different title IDs, what happens when you install hbc from the old installer with 1.0.6 in it? should show up as 2nd channel i guess

I tried this. What happened to me was I only had 1 HBC channel. It appeared that I downgraded from 1.0.8 to 1.0.6 but when I rebooted my Wii 1.0.8 will showed backup and no 1.0.6. Don't ask me how and why but thats happened to me while trying to install DVDx. I had to uninstall 1.0.8 and then run the 1.0.6 Hackmii installer again.

wii64 unable to find usb hdd

Wii64 has been having trouble finding my usb hdd. All of my other apps and emulators can see it, and are able to load roms off of it with no problems.

I have a 1TB WD external drive with a 500GB FAT32 partition as the first, primary, active partition, and another 500GB wbfs as the second partition.

The second partition works great for my wii backups.

Now, I've noticed with wiixplorer that the fat32 drive shows up as usb1:. It used to show up as usb2, when it was the second partition, but I moved it to the front of the drive. Could this be the reason wii64 can't see some usb hdds? Can it only read drives with single partitions labeled usb:?
