    PCSX-R v50 has been released

    Playstation emulator for Wii

    ------------------------------------------------------

    updated June 08,2010
    updated to pcsx v84

    PCSX v84 - DOWNLOAD HERE

    -------------------------------------------------------

    pcsx-revolution
Port of pcsx for Nintendo Wii (formerly Revolution)

pscx v50 has been released. I haven't tried this yet but will when I get some free time. There was no readme with the download so have fun trying to figure it out.

    Changelog

    * Rev. 50:
o Reworked recompiler. Fixed some bugs. Still buggy.
o New GTE. Closer to documentation, but needs more testing. Many bugs fixed, but some new added.

    PCSX v50 DOWNLOAD - http://pcsx-revolution.googlecode.co...x-r_wii.tar.gz
SOURCE - Downloads - pcsx-revolution - Project Hosting on Google Code

I have an older version of this emulator, run the .dol file as normal from HBC. There is also another folder that was included with that download, don't know if it will work with this v50. Create a folder on your SD card called "pcsx-r". In that folder are 3 other folders called "bios","games","memcards". If you can't figure out what them folders are for then give up hacking. Once again, that pcsx-r folder was included with the v28 download, don't know if it will work with v50. Hint - you will need the scph1001.bin in the bios folder for this emulator to work. Get scph1001.bin from google.

    File organisation: pcsx-r v50

    [sd:]&[usb:]
    +-apps
    | +-pcsx-r
    | |-boot.dol
    | |-meta.xml
    | |-icon.png

    [sd:]&[usb:]
    +-pcsx-r
    | +-bios
    | |-scph1001.bin
    | |-memcards
    | |-games

    [smb:]
    +-pcsx-r
    | |-games

    * Put scph1001.bin in bios dir.
    * Memory cards will be created automatically on the first launch.
    * Default folder for games is sd:/pcsx-r/games.
    * Supported types: iso, bin, bin+cue, bin+toc, img, mdf.
    * All config files stored in sd:/pcsx-r.

    * Don't forget to configure PAD before launch a game.

How would I go about playing a game that has ".ccd",".img",".sub" files? I tried loading the .img but it fails to run.

Not much help as my original copy of the disk is scratched.

It just so happens that I decided to take on the challenge just today to get this emulator working. I started off with an unknown version (I have had it for a while) and the sound was horrible. I hoped on here and found this thread and this new update. I can't even get it to load anything now with this version. It's just sitting here with a black screen. The wiimote is still synced and I have a FPS in the top left but thats it. I think the programmer still has some work to do

Edit: Ok, I got Metal Gear running but the sound is still horrible. Is there a way to fix this or maybe a different loader?

This is the first time I have tried to use this emulator, with no luck what so ever. WiiSX I could get working, but not this emulator. It just will not recognize my ISO. I ripped about 7 ps1 discs to BIN / CUE files, with IMGburn. All but one of these games works with WiiSX, I've tried to boot from SD card and USB, I think I'm giving up on this emulator and having a wait for WiiSX beta2 to be released.
