FCE Ultra GX and Snes9x GX help please!

so i have downloaded FCE Ultra GX (nintendo) and Snes9x GX (super nintendo) Emulators...

can someone explain to me where i put these and where to put the games on the SD card? i noticed that the emulators are all in a folder names apps when i extract them? do i just copy the contents into the apps folder on the SD card or what? also is it possible to play games from a USB HDD? I did look for info on this, but it was all too confusing... the tutorial seems to be more about computers than putting stuff on your wii?

    any help would be great?

when you unzip the archive, I think 3 folders pop out. just drag all the folders over to your SD card. if you get a prompt to merge folders then click yes.

I just looked at the SNES emulator and only 2 folder are in the zip, so drag them over to your sd and you should be good to go. Access the emulators with the homebrew channel.

thanks for your help! i think I have it working... I had to create another folder to put the roms in, but both of the emulators are coming up in HBC.. and the games seem to work but when I go into the emulator menu, the games have all these differnt names? for example super mario 2 will have 4 or five differnt files inside the directory? any ideas? is that normal?

    Smile Roms

What are roms? Where do you find roms? How do you install roms for the emulators to read and boot them? When I use SNES emulator, it says Files incorrect size or something like that. I am confused. I did figure out how to take isos and burn them to DVD with Imageburn, thanks to this forum. I am still researching how to run games on my Verbatim 16gb flash drive.

Dude, you need to review emulators 101 to get your basic questions answered. ROMS are the game images and can be downloaded everywhere...google it. You don't install them, they just sit in a folder for the emulator to open. Start simple with a 2 gig SD card, they are inexpensive, easy to use and hold lots of NES and SNES ROMS. After you get that working, then experiment with flash drives.
