I also can't seem to get Wii64 to load any Roms. It says it can't find the folder for the Roms or the Saves, but as far as I know, the folder is in the correct location on my USB drive.

    Any ideas?

I was wondering if there was anyway to run codes (AR-Gameshark-etc) through Wii64

I just started playing with this emulator so I'm no expert on it yet but I don't believe so.

    Rom location on USB

    Hi,

I downloaded Wii64 from my homebrew browser and am trying to play my roms from my usb drive. Every time I click on load rom from usb it gives me an error saying "error loading from/wii64/roms". Has anyone else ran into this? I have a few roms in various formats (.n64 and .v64) and they are on my usb drive structured like this.....

    wii64/roms/(rom.n64)

I have a few n64 roms on my sd card and they play just fine.
    Any thoughts?

    Thank you so much

I never could get the roms to load from a USB device with Wii64 or WiiSX, which would come in handy for WiiSX because the ISO's use a lot of space on a SD card.

    fixed the download link

Same here. USB should be supported but I've had no luck. The same goes for MAME.

I was able to get the roms to boot from USB HDD with Wii64 and WiiSX.

This is my setup, usb port 0 is a full WBFS usb hdd, usb port 1 is a dual partition WBFS/FAT32.

If loading the emulator from the HBC, then the usb hdd needs to be plugged into usb port 1, and you cannot have a WBFS usb hdd plugged into usb port 0. It will not read roms from usb port 0 no matter what.

If using a forwarder with AHBPROT support, then the emulator will still only read usb hdd from port 1, and will work with a WBFS usb hdd plugged into usb port 0.

    Conclusion-
Bottom line is, your roms need to be on a USB device plugged into usb port 1. If booting from HBC then turn off or unplug the hdd plugged into usb port 0. Using a forwarder with AHBPROT support you do not need to unplug the usb hdd in usb port 0 but still need the roms on a device plugged into usb port 1.

Well, I have this problem too... but, at first time I try to run Paper Mario and, it runs (with all the glitches and everything) but when I turn off my Wii, and turn on later it refuses to cooperate and began to show the aforementioned error...

Anyone know what could have happened to stop working?

I must say that, besides the wii64, I have installed the SNES and GBA emulators, and none of the 2 gives me problems with USB

    Best regards...
