    Help getting Amiga Emulator working...

Hi there - I have been trying to get the UAE working for the Wii - but so far had no luck. I have done a search and found no guide that seems to help. I have all the kickstart roms and followed the guide here:

    UAE Wii - WiiBrew

But all I get when I start the emulator up is a black screen and it then returns to the HBC.

Has anybody got this working? If so maybe you can let me know where the Roms go and if there is anything else missing...

    Thanks in advance!

nope, but can see what it does..
these must be on root of SD

    uae/
    uae/uaerc
    uae/floppies/
    uae/roms/
    uae/harddisks/
    uae/saves/
    apps/uae/
    apps/uae/boot.dol
    apps/uae/...

thats t2o folders in SD root, one uae and one in the apps

    does everything else work?

    Yes that's exactly what I have -

I then put all the ROMS I have into /uae/roms/

Then copied 'amiga-os-130.rom' and renamed it 'kick.rom' and put that in /uae/roms/

    And it's not working...

I am sure i am missing something - but I can't see what, it seems pretty simple.

    Didn't work for me either.
I installed it via the Homebrew browser.
Found out that the install is incomplete.

What I did was that I downloaded it from code.google.com/p/uae-wii/
I unpacked the *bin.tar.gz and got a *bin.tar, renamed that to *bin.rar and unpacked that to the sd-card.

Oh, remember to delete the uaerc folder from /uae on your sd-card or else you will get an error while unpacking to the card.

    It works for me..
    Now for some IK+

i had most of these problems to so i saved all my apps and stuff and formatted my card and started again- yeeha got the benchmark v1.3 then tinkered for ages trying to get games loading and was getting the dumps and black screens untill i hit [reset aue] after selecting each rom from df0 [and not load] with the 2 button, some games take longer to pop up(load)than others, hope this helps at least 1 of yous.

ps. lol i now have a problem getting the wii mote to work in games but it is ok navigating around benchmark, tried the sdl wii process to make/compile? a file, failed majorly.
can anyone tell me if sdl is my answer to playing the games with the mote or is it just button mapping in benchmark, any help with this would be great-i had an amiga and a st when i was a lad and im itching to go back down memory lane.
