wii64 problems - please help!

Hi guys, I'm new here and in need of a little assistance. I've just started fiddling with homebrew and managed to get some decent emulation going off but I've tried the Wii64 emulator and everytime I load it (using Homebrew Channel) it just sticks on the wii64 menu screen with the N logo twirling away in the corner and I have to reboot the Wii. My controller does absolutely nothing. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Well, it's still in the very early stages of development. So it might just be bugging out on your particular wii. Anyways most games fail or have a very low frame rate. Honestly you aren't missing much yet.

Just wait a while, something good has to be coming from these guys...

Cheers guys. I'll try the latest one and see if I have any joy. That or stick to playing some classic NES games

My Wii does the same thing. Being a noob as well I think you might need to connect a game cube controller to get the N64 working.

Yea, you do need a gc controller plugged in. Wii64 doesn't respond to the wii controller codes (homebrew adds a 'w' to the front of every input code for the wii remote) and it makes sense that it wouldn't. Mapping the N64 controller to the wii remote just wouldn't work. So in the absence of a GC controller it would appear as if the program crashed.

I have the same issue, but is there a list of supported games that it does support?
