Okay i have enjoyed the emulation scene on the wii for quite some time now. but i have never had any luck with using two wiimotes for snes9xgx, fce ultra gx, or genesis plus on the wii.

am i missing something? iv turned on multitap in the options menu, and still nothing. am i to reconnect both controllers b4 entering homebrew channel? is there a button i have to hold for the controller to b recognized?

when i try and use the 2nd wiimote while running one of the three emus it just flashes like it is not logged in or connected. is there a way to do this -i have searched for a while now and still no answers. if some one could help me that would b great.

i feel like there has to b a simple answer cuz on wiibrew.org it says they all can run multiple players. my dream is to play four player turtles in time. thanks in advance.

try downloading the latest emus through HBC. NES only ever supported two players. My snesx9 works great with two gamecube controllers; I play NBA jam quite a bit. My genesis Emu works with two Gamecube controllers; I play bomberman a lot, too :P

Maybe you have an older version with wiimote functionality limited? Try a GC controller

gc contollers are much more comfortable aswell.

hmmm so ur saying if i wanna do multiplayer i may need to use gc controllers. yikes. has anyone else had luck using two wiimotes? i do have the most up-to-date emus and still no luck.

if ne one can help me out id greatly appreciate it cuz im usually good at figuring this stuff out and i feel like such a snake/clown ass/noob rite now and im sorry if iv offended anyone with my ignorance.

I believe you can only use one wiimote.
