    Problems running some emulators.

    Hi guys.
First post here. Before i get to the core of the issue, i just want you to know that google and this forum has been searched with no luck what so ever.

Yesterday i installed 3 emulators. Hu-Go, Snes9x and FCE Ultra GX. I got some games which i dropped in the correct folder. Now here is the point: The FCE works flawlessly. Absolutely 100%. The other two has some serious issues which i can't explain. The Hu-Go goes black and freezes every time i try to load a game. After that, i need to reboot the machine to get it running again. The Snes9X says: "Invalid file size" no matter which game i try. So far 10+ has been tested. Same problem.
Furthermore.. When i start the Snes9x, im told that there is an update availeble. And yes i want to update, but the machine can't due to connection problems.
Im running all of the above through my SD Card. Kingston 16GB.

Can you guys point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance.

    -Brian

The emulation guide relating to the two you mention may be useful. It's predicated on a user who has softmodded their Wii via wiihacks "Softmod ANY Wii" guide. Did you follow that guide? If not, you should.

People being people, if you elect not to do that advice, at the very least post a SysCheck as a reply to this thread (directions on how to do that can be found here).

Thanks for sharing. One of my friend did the mod on my machine and to be honest, i don't have a clue how things work. Well, im getting there but still n00b.
I have looked through the guides but they doesn't have the answer. I did the systemcheck as requested, and here it is:

Your SysCheck shows a hodge podge of mix 'n' match cIOS (both in terms of revision and in terms of base). In other words, resoftmod. For comparison purposes, you may wish to check the spoiler in the "Softmod ANY Wii" guide labeled "Cios FAQ- What this mod installs."

My recommendation: follow that guide (start at the spoiler labeled "Softmods with HOMEBREW CHANNEL installed" found in Chapter 1, Part 1. Then follow it to the end. See if you get better results with your emulator stuff by doing so.

Argh, thought that might be the solution. I can't make it tonight but will attempt to make within the next week. I appreciate your answer, thanks.
