    Genesis Plus GX: SEGA Genesis/MegaDrive Emulator for Nintendo Wii


    Genesis Plus GX is a port of the emulator ''Gens'' to the Nintendo Wii.
    With this application, you can play all your favourite Genesis/MegaDrive games on your Wii, using either your WiiMote, Classic Controller, or GameCube Controller!


    Information
    *Preferred PAL Mode: Any (automatic TV mode detection, no more PAL60 version needed).
    *Display mode: 480p, 480i, 576i, 240i, 288i, 288p and 240p
    *Supports Zip compressed rom images.
    *Genesis 4 players multitap adapters (Sega TeamPlayer and EA 4-Way Play) support
    *Game Genie cheat code support
    *Sega Mouse & Sega Mega Mouse
    *Sega Menacer & Konami Justifier lightguns. 2 lightgun has the same time supported.
    *SVP DSP (Virtua Racing)

    Installation and Useage
    *To load the emulator via the Homebrew Channel, simply click on ''Genesis Plus GX'' and start.
    *To load the emulator via the Wii System Menu, open the Homebrew channel, start ''WAD Manager'', and install the Channel WAD.
    *ROMs, Saves, Cheats and Snapshots are all stored in the folder ''genplus'' on the root of your SD Card, or USB Device.
    *To get an image next to your ROM list, press HOME and click on the ''Snap'' button at the bottomright corner while you're in-game.

    No. I really wish you could but I guess it's kind of irrelevant to me since I run Fusion on my PC. I haven't seen CD or 32X support on the Wii yet.

    Edit: Also technically CD images aren't ROMs.

    I don't think anyone uses real discs when it comes to emulation. I know some emulators are capable but its a lot easier to rip it to a hard drive.
