What program are you trying to load the disks with?

Gecko OS doesn't load backup disks. Use NeoGamma.

I'm having the same problem as well. I recently got my Wii back from Nintendo and soft modded it. I don't know if they cleaned the lens or just swapped out drives for a newer one.

Is there a way I can check this?
