Hi all, I just bought my Wii yesterday. It is a Korean set, and fully mod. I am not sure if it is an NTSC or PAL set.
I have downloaded a game (PAL) and it is in .rar format. So I have extracted it and it has an ISO file, 3 internet shortcuts and 1 text document. I have burned only the ISO file onto a DVD-RW at a 2.4x speed. However when I try to load the disc, there is a message that says 'unable to read disc'.
Please help. Is any of my steps incorrect? Or do I need an SD card?

There could be many things wrong here ...
1. Use the dumping and burning guide in my signature. No DVD+R or DVD-RW media. Use DVD-R.
2. What's your firmware version? To determine your machine's region, head to: Wii Dashboard >> Wii Button in corner >> settings >> listed in there. It'll look something like 3.4_ (_ = letter)
If you are at the 3.3 or 3.4 version, look at my signature for an explantion for those firmwares. If your game image was not listed at 4.37 GB (4,699,979,776 bytes) on the website, not after extraction, pre-extraction ... it's been altered. 3.3 / 3.4 won't play it.
