    Problem burning ISO

I'm using Imgburn 2.5.5 and trying to make a backup of Sin & Punishment 2.

The burn was done with a cheap DVD-R at 2x speed.

It apparently went well but when it tries to verify the disc it always stalls at 94% with multiple read errors all the way to 100%. My display driver crashes and recovers each time a read error is uncovered. When the disc is put into my Wii and loaded with Neogamma, it acknowledges the disc is there, but I get the 'disc could not be read' error right after loading.

Here's the ImgBurn log. I aborted after about 8 errors or so. Is this a problem with the disc, the ISO (which has been scrubbed once), or my burner? Help!

Are you using Verbatim and/or Taiyo Yuden media? Looks like just bad burn/crappy media...

I know about both brands but currently don't have access to either one so I tried using a cheap disc....I'll try again on a second disc and see if I come up with the exact same error. I thought it might have been a bad dump. Thanks.

It could be either actually, but using the recommended blank media will at least take that part of the problem out...
