Most dvd burners will burn wii games just fine. the issue is dumping them.
Sent from my van, down by the river.

OK. Cool. Was reading most of the first post and was wondering on it. Also, would the Wii read LG Lightscribe DVD-R's?

OK....... burnt disk to DVD-R, ran NeoGamma to run backup, tried to load DVD and got the following error:
    DVD Read Error (1053)
Also tried using Gecko OS but it said that it did not detect a DVD.
Let me take a gander: My Wii has the dreaded D3-2 Drive Chip right???

    Hi,
Does anyone know of any issues when using an 8082n?? Just got the drive and when using rawdump it tells me after 5 mins or so that my drive is faulty. I'm using xp and have even tried opening the tray before the program as recommended when using vista. Just wondered if its a glitch or if the drive really is faulty.
    Cheers, R

I have an LG Dvd drive; GSA-H42N and it wont read Wii discs for dumping.
My question is, can I simply update or edit the firmware of the drive to make it compatible?
Or install the firmware on it to suit a known compatible drive?

    Thanks guys..

Problem With Mario Cart File Size

    Hello, 1st Post.
    Hope Ive Read Well.

I Am Trying To Dump Mario Cart
Im Having A Problem With The Files After Ive Dumped Them.
Make sure the image is exactly 4,699,979,776 kbs. If it's not, it's a bad read, re-dump it.
I Have 4,700,012,544 bytes In Propertys, And 4,589,856 KB In Root Folder Preview Under "Size"

Now At 1st, That Was Easy. "Okay Re-Dump Them Cause Its A Bad Read" As Stated Above. But I Did, The 2nd Time I Dumped, It Appeared To Be Frozen/Paused. I Closed. Re-Opened Raw-dump And It Continued Where It Left Off. Again! 4,700,012,544 bytes.

** Both Times I Have Done This At Night When I Go To Bed, So It Can Run Un-Disturbed**
