    No Devices Detected!

Do I really have to purchase those drives before I can do anything? Or might I already have one, having windows XP Professional?

When I open ImgBurn and select my .iso file and speed, it says Device Not Ready, Medium Not Present. But then I insert a Verbatim DVD and it says (in the process of becoming ready), and then after nothing happens, it just goes back to "device Not Ready," so I can't click the file to disc.

Sorry about being so noob, but any help would be really appreciated, thanks a lot.
I've read the entire thread and didn't find an answer to this problem. The ImgBurn could not detect my DVD drive. I'm using Matshita DVD-RAM UJ-842S on a laptop. From what I understand is that you only need specific LG drives for dumping wii games to ISO files but you may use any drive for burning. Why is the DVD drive not detected by ImgBurn? And how can i possibly burn ISO files?

Arrow Looking for the right LG Driver

    Hello everyone,

As you can see I'm brand new on this scene, managed to sort my Wii out and did not realise ntil late last night that you need a certain type of LG DVD ROM. As you can see from the list below I've checked all the know and possible LG DVD ROM. I know the first 5 work brillantly but does anybody have any feed back about the second list, I've also listed LG serial numbers mentioned from this thread. Just like to know before I end up buying the wrong one on fleabay.

Errors even though I have the right equipment

    Guys / Girls....

I have the correct LG drive (8164) and have dumped original PAL discs; NSMB, Just Dance and Ghostbusters.

I have managed to get them from the Rawdump, through Imgburner and onto Disc for the Wii but they will not play!! I have also tried getting them onto the latest USBloader GX, but they still wont play even with the 002 fix on.

I have downloaded torrent games and these by the majority all work fine with no issues or 002 errors.... but the original games that I want to back up before my kids kill them wont work at all!!

I am running version 4.2e on my wii, with the latest homebrew, ios249 and the latest Cios 38. 17 (i think)

I have tried to patch the games using wiiscrubber but for some reason best known to the ISO, it will not let scrubber access it!?!?!

Can someone please tell me if I am being thick and missing something or where on earth am I going wrong??

    Burning multi ISO files???

    Hey all,

How do you use IMGBurn with multiple ISO files (blocks of the same game)? Probably a stupid question, but havent had the chance to try yet as I dont have the right burner yet.

    Cheers, R

FYI: I went out and I bought the LG drive. It worked great, but it took 4 hours to burn the disk. However; I found that you don't even need the LG drive. I bought an Iomega Prestige 1 TB USB HD (for the same price I bought the LG Drive for). I also downloaded WBFS Manager 3.0. I can then add my iso files through the WBFS Manager to my WBFS formatted drive. It worked great. I use USB Loader GX to load the games from my usb drive. I don't have to worry about discs going bad and the games run with no lag in speed. I can also copy my games directly to my hard drive in seconds with WBFS Manager so now I don't have to use my original games to play. I can also extract my iso files in minutes to make a backup of my iso files. Not sure if this is of interest to anyone but it sure saves time and money without an LG Drive.

No, you just click the first file and the rest will follow to make you one iso file. Hope this helps. SUre you already got your answer.
