    Rguy

you miss the point or didnt read the full forum

Any burner will burn WII games.....
The trick is to get a WII game ISO from the Web or from an original Disc

To get from original Disc you will need one of about 5 or 6 different LG drives.
That is to read the WIi disc and put the Disc data on your computer ready to burn.

Then i repeat any burner will burn a the ISO......Getting the ISO is the problem

The reason you need specialised DVD drive to read WII discs is that the have bad sectors that only these particular LG drives ignore, Hence you get a good image not one with bad sectors

The above is a simply explaination as to why you need to use LG drive to READ WII discs.

Of course people suggest why not use your WII it reads WII disc so why not....

It is a good way to wear out you drive which is not designed for such heavy red write operations...(who wants to destroy there WII.

If you are having problems after using the correct dump method on a disc it will be on the burn side ......Slow down the burn and use Verbatim -r
